Nuclear Partition Functions

The partition function represents an adjustment to the reaction rate based on the thermal population of excited states. Each table begins by listing for each isotope (A,Z) the temperature dependent partition function (W), and the ratio (G) of that partition function to the statistical weight for the ground state (2J0+1).
